Thanks to all who contributed behind the scenes to a phenomenal weekend. You are truly the ones who made it possible for the athletes (and I use that term lightly in my case) to compete. FRCF is first-class and the core of an amazing community in Colorado.

Wu - you are the man. I will never scale another WOD again.

Special thank you to Betsy Auth who not only did water, but also did trash pick up and kept bathrooms tidy on Sunday! You were amazing this weekend!

Great job everyone!
2500 pics.... wow
Will any be posted?

Thanks to everyone who cheered me on when I wasn't sure if I could finish. Your encouragement helped me keep moving through the pain!

Thank you for all the support this past weekend! I had a ton of fun, and thank you for pushing me through all the workouts!

As one of those athletes who was just trying to beat the cut off times, I wanted to say I had such a great time participating in this event. The support from fellow FRCFs was amazing- From Roeper talking me through the tire flips, Jodi making sure I was warmed up, Bradley telling me I could do it, to all the judges wishing me good luck at the start of all my heats, to all the cheers during the event. And Mo for keeping me laughing and smiling. Oh, and Katie--you got me through those ball slams! ;)
I felt so lucky to be a part of our team. THANKS!

Couldn't agree more. Excellent weekend put together, and thanks to everyone who had a part in that. My first exposure to competition and some movements that I cannot do at the house (tire flips, rowing, etc), and had a great time. Will definately be back next year. Always nice to see the top folks push the limits of possible. BTW, awesome programming!!

Thanks to all the FRCF crew for making this happen. I would like to put a specific shout out to all the judges. Mine were excellent and really helped to motivate me and seemed to do a good job with the difficult task of maintaining standards. Thank God I didn't drop the kettlebell.

I want to give a special shout-out to the judges...weighing in at 145 pounds I saw the 42 reps of 165 lb power cleans and was pretty concerned. My judge literally wouldn't let me quit or slow down. There was no way I would have done well on that workout without them..let alone finish in under 8 min. Great programming--it definitely helped to bring out my weaknesses so I can work on them over the next few months...I haven't really "competed" competitively since high school and it was great!

We are so lucky to have the support of so many. A huge thanks to all. I agree with Karen on Katie (and Lambo) - for some reason they were the ones that I could hear the most to pick up the slam ball. Dave and Dan for pressing me as a judge. Being a judge is stressful and wears you out so to all of them thank you so much. All judging was so even - great to see.

Looking forward to next year, I think.

It was awesome to be a part of Saturday. It's cool to see the looks on people's faces as they show up to FRCF and see the facility we're lucky enough to train at and the caliber of people who call it home.

Hey FRCF gang,

I just wanted you to know that our athletes and spectators really had a great experience. We brought a couple of first time competitors and your fantastic event lit a fire for them. In fact, one of them was so excited she talked a coworker into attending her first skills session at our box yesterday.

I can't imagine how an event could be run any more professionally. Dan's right, your facility rocks, but it is the community of folks who make up FRCF that are so impressive.

Cheers,

Great job to all of the athletes this weekend! It takes courage to physically perform while your range of motion is dissected by a judge. Big props to my fellow judges for remaining vigilant throughout the weekend. The unsung hereos, the countless volunteers, made the it all run seamlessly.

A special thank you to Jodi, Skip and Bradley for all their hardwork. This event and the many like them would not be possible without their efforts.

The countless hours of planning, setting up, breaking down, judging, coaching, running the event, maintaining the premises, dividing the help, briefing the help, briefing all the judges .. etc .. etc ... does not accurately gauge how much heart and effort they put into an event. Thank you guys, you put on a great show.
