Dan dedicated himself to volunteer mountain search and rescue throughout his high school and college years. He joined the Denver Police Department in 1996 where he currently works as a field training officer and holds the rank of Corporal.
Dan found CrossFit in 2005 and hasn't been able to go to bed without knowing the next day's workout ever since. Dan followed the CrossFit.com site before joining FRCF in the summer of 2009. He has competed in the Colorado Police & Fire Games where he won gold in the team Toughest Competitor Alive event. He has completed numerous marathons including the Bataan Death March and the Pike's Peak. Dan has also competed in several Olympic Weightlifting events including the 2011 CO State meet where he won silver in the 77kg class.
Dan is passionate about helping all those in the FRCF family achieve maximum wellness and their highest level of fitness.
