Dana Deitz

FRCF Coach

  • CrossFit Trainer, Level I (June 2012)
  • FRCF Coaching Development Course (January 2013)

Dana has been CrossFitting since 2010. He was introduced to CrossFit through rugby, where he played for the Denver Harlequins Rugby Club. Having experienced CrossFit at other locations, a visit to FRCF’s top-notch facility confirmed that the close-knit community, superior coaching staff, and competitive atmosphere made it the place for him.

Dana has spent his entire life playing sports including football, track, wrestling, baseball and rugby. Dana attended Clarion University in Pennsylvania where he played rugby for three years. His current athletic hobbies include trail running, mountain biking, skiing, and triathlons. He has competed in several marathons, Xterra triathlons and a half-ironman triathlon. Dana’s broad athletic background made CrossFit’s ready-for-anything philosophy a natural fit for his athletic endeavors. Dana also appreciates that CrossFit accomplishes multiple goals including an outlet for his competitive nature while improving strength and overall fitness.

As a FRCF Coach, Dana’s goal is to help everyone at FRCF to improve each day and achieve their goals.
